Methodological Advances & Chemometrics in Membrane Biophysics
We develop and refine physicochemical techniques—including FTIR, UV-Vis, and refractometry—to track molecular-level phenomena at the membrane-water interface. By combining vibrational and electronic spectroscopy with chemometric analysis, we reconstruct fine structural features and resolve subtle changes in orientation and hydration of the particular functional groups at the membrane surface.
